The UT-Baptist Research Park is the entrepreneurial and business development center of the growing Memphis Bioscience community. Within these 13 acres in the heart of the Memphis Medical Center is a unique environment designed for collaboration and discovery – an environment specially designed for bioscience to come to life and to market. It is the ideal location for bioscience growth – from incubator stage to thriving biobusiness.
More than 52,000 square feet of office and wet lab space are currently available in various configurations and sizes within four distinct buildings on the park campus. More space is planned. Most space is furnished.
The Memphis Bioworks Foundation has several incubator space options to serve the needs of companies, from start-ups to more mature operations that are not yet ready to commit to a traditional commercial lease. We understand that the needs of companies can vary, and we will work with you to tailor a solution for your situation.
Our incubator is not just space. The Memphis Bioworks Foundation offers a range of other services including assistance with business planning, back office services (accounting, bill paying, payroll), telephone service and internet access. Early stage capital and entrepreneurship mentoring is available from Innova Memphis and our Executives in Residence can help provide feedback to business concepts and ideas, whether the technology is suitable for development into a company or licensing to a larger company.
